The Center for Community Health was recently invited to contribute to a peer-reviewed publication in PLOS Digital Health examining how digital therapeutics (DTx) are developed, tested, and deployed, and how structural gaps in representation can unintentionally widen health disparities.

Led by Meelim Kim and Steven De La Torre, and co-authored by academic, community, and industry partners, the article outlines practical partnership strategies to improve inclusion and equity across the full DTx lifecycle, from design and clinical trials to implementation and reimbursement. CCH contributed community-engaged frameworks grounded in long-standing partnerships and our Community-Led Transformation approach.
